EFVEO is located in the Port of Ghent, a central and strategic base for our operations in Belgium and beyond. From this location, we can easily reach our customers throughout Flanders, Brussels, Southern Netherlands, and Northern France. Furthermore, we are closer to many existing customers and industrial partners, enabling us to respond to their needs more quickly and flexibly.

Our new location primarily offers us the space to grow further. Thanks to the spacious workshops and available storage capacity, we can efficiently prepare, build, and test larger industrial projects. Extensive control cabinets, complex automation installations, and multiple projects can also be managed in a controlled manner here.

The move to the Port of Ghent thus supports our ambition to continue growing into a leading partner in industrial electricity and automation. A location with space for large projects, excellent accessibility and all the possibilities to serve our customers even better.

EFVEO was founded in 1992 with the vision of providing leading solutions in the field of industrial automation and electricity. Over the years, we have become a trusted partner for companies in various sectors thanks to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We believe that cooperation and expertise are the keys to successful projects. This vision has remained unchanged for more than 30 years, and our experience has grown continuously.

We owe our growth to the commitment and professionalism of our dedicated team. Their determination has enabled us to deliver outstanding results time and again.

The name EFVEO is derived from the phonetic pronunciation of the abbreviation FVO, which stands for Françoys-Vanoverschelde. André Françoys and Jan Vanoverschelde founded the firm on 9 May 1992, as a successor to the previously founded 1980s firm ELHAM (Electricity, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Automation and Motors). There are even colleagues who worked at ELHAM and now work at EFVEO. Talk about a lot of experience...

After 32 years of service as team leader at Françoys-Vanoverschelde, Koen Van de Voorde, together with his wife Saskia de Groote, took over and successfully managed the firm on 30 December 2009. After 19 years of leadership, Koen and Saskia handed over the firm to Dirk Van Den Wouwer and Els Van Hul on 15 December 2023. They proudly continue EFVEO's rich history and strongly believe in further growth and the company's values.
